In collaboration with the Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA), the Incumbent Upskilling Pilot Project was developed to support a stable talent pipeline for in-demand roles by providing training and coaching to incumbent workers who have the potential to move into these roles through an on-the-job training program. 

 

Purpose Co worked with the OGCA to convene a group of employers to identify several actionable solutions to the identified talent shortage. Following the identification of solutions, Purpose Co designed and tested an on-the-job training pilot program in collaboration with the OGCA and industry stakeholders to support the development and advancement of incumbent workers into targeted roles.
