Hotel and Food Services Pandemic Recovery Strategy and Action Plan

Purpose Co has worked closely with UNITE HERE Local 75 to support the union to  design and implement a regional intervention in response to COVID-19’s impact on hotel and food service workers (the majority of whom are immigrants) in the Toronto area on behalf of an international union. This work has included conducting a worker needs assessment and working with the leadership team to rapidly design and implement services in response to workers’ needs and priorities while tracking and monitoring outcomes and evolving services to meet the changing needs of hospitality employers and workers between 2020-2022.
