Margaret has over 37 years of experience in the Hospitality industry. Her career started in London, England, after she completed her City and Guilds in Hospitality.

In Canada, she started with Loews Hotels and then moved to Starwood Hotels where she stayed for 23 years. Starwood Hotels saw her progress through Rooms Division, TQM, Director of Operations, Six Sigma, Hotel Manager and Regional Procurement. During this time, she continued her education by completing a course in statistics, AMPHI (Advanced Management Program for Hospitality Industry), at Guelph University and became certified to administer MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator). Margaret also completed many of the Starwood Brand training aimed at coaching and development.

In 2011, she left the industry to develop her own business, The Ready Group Inc. which comprises being an Operational Consultant for CK Atlantis, and Project Manager for Hospitality Workers Training Centre and CFTB.ca. (Connect for the Best is an interactive website aimed at connecting workers seeking supplementary hours with employers needing on-call staffing) The Ready Group Inc. provides advisory services, in addition to training development and delivery.
