Shiva (she/her/elle) is a Facilitator and Researcher with PurposeCo. In this role she delivers training, facilitates group processes, and conducts primary and secondary research on workforce development best practices. Previously, Shiva has led multiple organizational assessments and learning sessions relating to equity, diversity and inclusion. She also led and carried out national research on women’s access to gainful employment, focusing on addressing the barriers faced by made-vulnerable women. Shiva is a life-long learner and always looking for opportunities to learn and facilitate productive co-learning environments. Shiva holds a master’s degree in Political Science and International Studies from McGill University and is currently a PhD student in the department of Health and Society at McMaster University.
